We have released PeatSense, a collaborative platform for global peatland condition monitoring and knowledge&data sharing!

PeatSense is our answer to the challenges and needs we identified during the CONCEPT phase and the subsequent ideation workshop. PeatSense currently offers:

• Maps , among which we proudly introduce an all-Ireland’s raised bogs ecotope map (based on our work on ecotope mapping);
• A Directory, enlisting projects, organizations and much more revolving around peatlands;
• The Peatland Glossary of term, maintained by our good collaborator, the Peat Hub Ireland project;
• The Wish List, a page where users can post their collaboration wishes, read wishes posted by other users, and contact them should they want to help in fulfilling their wishes.

Play with PeatSense and provide us with any feedback you may have regarding e.g. new functionalities, and to promote the platform it within your network. 

Please bear in mind PeatSense is in BETA version, this means that functionalities might be limited, missing, not working too well or even not at all.
